The trio followed the pair from the second floor. There wasn’t much to watch at first, not when the barbarian woman plowed through the shell monsters and skeleton warriors with relative ease. They were getting ready to face off against the altered gel monster, but Maxi couldn’t get past the way the jerk looked at Kelly.

“You’re grinding your teeth,” Sylvia whispered as they walked on the glass floor.

“The guy is an asshole. I wish we had some badass monster that could tear him a new one.”

“You mean you want to tear him a new one,” she teased with an awkward pat on his back.

“Maybe, but he deserves it.”

“Why, because he was a tiny bit naughty to your mage?” she teased in a childish voice. “You better get used to it. Adventurers tend to think that the world revolves around them, which, if you think about our situation, it kinda does.”

“Whatever,” he huffed and folded his arms over his chest.

The new gel monster, or slime girl, as he took to calling it, slid down the hall toward the pair. The barbarian took a step toward the creature, but the hooded man pulled her back and walked around.

“Let me have a go with this one.”

“Oh, Jared wants to fight the slime monster with gigantic tits,” she sighed, but stepped aside and ushered him forward. “How unexpected.”

“Whatever,” he huffed with a wicked smile as he approached the creature. “Hey there, baby. You wanna make those big titties jiggle for me before I take you out? I might pass you over unharmed if you put on a good show.”

“Jesus Christ, Jared,” the woman growled and slapped her palm against the wall. “Why don’t you just whip your cock out and ask her to suck it?”

“Jesus Christ?” Maxi whispered to his advisor. “I’ve never heard any of you say that.”

Maxi had a comment readied, but the adventurers stole his focus.

“You dare me to?” Jared asked the barbarian with an evil smirk. “Seriously, you dare me to whip it out?”

“It wouldn’t be the first time, and I doubt it’ll be the last,” the big woman groaned and folded her arms over her muscular chest. “You know it’ll hurt, right?”

“Please, she’s low level,” he chuckled and unfastened his belt. “I’ll be lucky to feel anything.”

“I’m guessing that’s what most women say judging by the size of his little cock,” Sylvia laughed with an elbow into Maxi’s arm. “By the way, have you taken the time to check yours out since you arrived?”

He wanted to laugh at her comment, but the question froze his brain. “Come to think of it, I haven’t even pissed since I got here, and I don’t have any clothes to change into, so…”
